Transfers Update for Tenants Joining in September
Circle Community Land Trust has now welcomed our first two groups of tenants on June 1st, and July 29th. Since then, our staff team has been busy getting to know our new tenants, conducting home inspections, performing maintenance, and more. It's been great to connect with tenants and learn more about you! Our next group of tenants will join us on September 1st, followed closely by our final group on September 30th.
Circle's Tenant Portal: We've launched a Tenant Portal, which will be a hub of information that we hope will make our tenants' experience of maintenance and repairs easier and more satisfying. Info Session for New Tenants
We know that our future tenants have many questions about the transfers, and about what you need to do to prepare. To learn more about what’s coming, please join Circle for our online Tenant Information Session on Thursday September 15th at 6:30pm. At this session, Circle will present all the important information that our incoming tenants need to know, including how to pay your rent to Circle, how to submit maintenance requests, and more. It will also be an opportunity for tenants to ask questions. This session will take place on the Zoom platform – the information needed to join by phone or computer is below. Rent Payment Update:
If you are joining us as a tenant on Sept 1st or Sept 30th, you will have received a letter with instructions for how to sign up for Pre-Authorized Rent Payments (PAP).
PAP means that each month, the bank automatically transfers the rent amount from your account to Circle. One of Circle’s main goals is to maintain positive and stable tenancies, and to reduce arrears and late rent payments. Pre-Authorized Rent Payments are the best way to achieve this. Circle encourages you to sign up, if you have not already done so, with the PAP signup form that you can download from the link below.
