We are now seeking applicants for two positions designed to offer our future tenants exemplary service and promote tenants’ independence, well-being, and sense of belonging.

Director of Tenant Services 

As Circle’s first Director of Tenant Services, you will report directly to the CEO & General Manager and participate in Circle’s leadership team. Your job will be to lead the development of operational strategies and procedures that fulfill Circle’s regulatory obligations and will promote tenant satisfaction and well-being. You will: 

  • Recruit, train, and lead the Tenant Service Team (of 4-5)  
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to review, develop, and deploy tenant-facing policies 
  • Develop and oversee processes for lease and subsidy administration activities 
  • Collaborate with the team to collect and leverage data to inform decision making related to improving the tenant experience 
  • Build connections with agencies and resources in the community that will benefit Circle’s tenants, and  
  • Foster and promote a positive image of Circle with tenants, key stakeholders, and the general public.

Tenant Engagement Co-ordinator 

We are also hiring a Tenant Engagement Co-ordinator to play a leadership role in promoting the quality of life of Circle’s tenants beyond the “nuts and bolts” of good property management. Reporting directly to Circle’s CEO, the Tenant Engagement Co-ordinator will ensure tenants have a say in the policies that affect their homes. You will: 

  • work with tenants to develop a Tenant Engagement Strategy  
  • support tenant engagement in policies that affect them through a Tenant Advisory Group and other consultation approaches 
  • develop tenant leadership, including creating a path to participation on Circle’s Board of Directors 
  • promote good communication between Circle and tenants online, in print and in person  
  • seek out local and city-wide partnerships that would create opportunities for tenants to become more connected with their neighbourhood and other tenants, and to access benefits such as jobs, scholarships, discounts, and access to free services 
  • develop mechanisms to evaluate tenants’ satisfaction with their home and make recommendations to the CEO based on your findings.
