This fall took Circle staff to two gatherings where we got to connect with our peers in affordable housing work: the CLT Summit hosted by the Canadian Network of Community Land Trusts in Vancouver, and the Ontario Non-Profit Housing Association (ONPHA) annual conference in Ottawa.
Our CEO, Alia Abaya, and Circle board president Tom Clement led presentations and talks at the CLT Summit. At ONPHA, our staff participated in meaningful discussions and panels, gaining valuable insights on how to better support and empower the communities and individuals we serve.
We learned so much from talks, panels, and all the illuminating and motivating conversations that happened in between.
